THE GAME

Embark on an epic journey in the realm previously known as the backyard.

Joe got more than he bargained for.

He was just a teenage boy trying to enjoy the highlights of a summer day—sitting inside and playing video games—when his mother discovered his less-than-impressive ambitions for the day and booted him outside to play.

Little did they know she was totally Gandalf-ing him into an epic adventure.

Outside, Joe accidentally gets involved in The Game, an imaginative game of make believe and intense action, of loose rules and epic storytelling, of heroes and villains.

Here in The Game, kids become epic and create legends.

Join Joe as he follows ordinary kids from his neighborhood in an epic, though slightly self-conscious, adventure. It will stir up your nostalgia for imaginative games that are both competitive and formative!

Questline

Donivar has dreamed of becoming a Quester: one of those brave individuals who look out for the interest of the common folk. His brother, Roland, is not so excited that his brother is dragging him into this, but it’s his best hope for a better life in the long run.
Donivar is shut down at every attempt to get into the questing industry. Finally he hatches A desperate scheme to get a foot in the door. He is shocked, and Roland is amused, to find that the entire industry is a sham run by some shadowy agency.
Donivar sees this as the real quest that needs to be undertaken for the people. He, and Roland, set off to uncover and dismantle the cloaked influence of Q.U.E.S.T.L.I.N.E. (Quests Universally Engineered So Townfolk Live In Near Equilibrium)

Questline Delayed: A Paradox of Results

I enjoy tracking my word output, like most authors. Typically, I’m aiming for a rough daily word count throughout the week (minimum of 250, but once I hit a stride with a story it usually bumps up to more like 700-1,000 words a day) and then I enjoy tallying up the monthly totals to see…

Lessons I Learned Through The Game

It feels crazy to think that roughly a year ago I declared the manuscript for The Game ready to move forward into pre-publishing work. The feeling of passing the manuscript off of the work table and, in that sense, away from a sense of semi-fluidity under my hands was sureal. It felt like the whole…

Questline: The Other Book

I know that if I keep switching which book I’m talking about working on I’m going to start sounding very uncommitted to this whole authorship thing. But, I do have one more book to mention at this time. It’s the one I’m actually working on writing at this moment. Enter Questline. This book originally came…
