Stridebeasts App

Stridebeasts is the pedometer app game that I wanted to play but could not find. Currently it is in beta testing, but I hope to get this ready for public launch later this year. The game is built around the idea of heavily rewarding and incentivizing steps with a fun gameplay that is intentionally kept snappy. The goal is a game that is fun, but doesn’t become a time-sink.

Stride Beasts Privacy Policy

Thank you for playing Stride Beasts. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how it is handled.

Information We Use

Activity (Step) Data

Stride Beasts uses your device’s activity or pedometer data to power gameplay. Your step count is used to:

  • Progress gameplay
  • Trigger monster encounters
  • Unlock game features and rewards
  • Power other movement-based mechanics

Stride Beasts does not use your activity data to determine your physical location.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Stride Beasts may send notifications such as:

  • Monster encounter availability
  • Health regeneration
  • Stamina regeneration
  • Other gameplay-related reminders

You may disable notifications at any time through your device’s settings.

Multiplayer Features

Stride Beasts includes online multiplayer battles powered by Firebase.

When participating in multiplayer, limited gameplay information necessary to facilitate battles may be transmitted through Firebase services. This information is used solely to provide multiplayer functionality.

Information We Do Not Collect

At this time, Stride Beasts does not:

  • Collect GPS location data
  • Collect precise location information
  • Store your game save data on external servers
  • Sell personal information
  • Use your activity data for advertising purposes

All game save data is currently stored locally on your device.

Data Storage

Your game progress is stored locally on your phone. If you uninstall the application or clear its data, your game progress may be permanently lost.

Future versions of Stride Beasts may offer optional cloud save functionality. If implemented, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Third-Party Services

Stride Beasts uses the following third-party service:

  • Firebase — used to provide online multiplayer functionality.

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy

Stride Beasts is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information has been collected in error, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the game evolves or new features are added. The most current version will always be available on this page.
